Learning in today’s world can be down right scary at times. That is how I feel at times. The world that I live in has changed from the world that I grew up in. The world crisis that we are all living in is proof of that. Reading through a number of case studies held world wide about using mobile devices has been very interesting. In many cases mobile learning lends it shelf to my innovation plan of “Blended Learning“. Looking through the development of these studies shows that a well thought out plan is crucial in the success of any innovation plan. One of the biggest revelations for me was the barriers that mobile learning faced. I believe that I will be faced with very similar barriers. With that being said it still affirms my belief that blended learning and the use of technology is imperative for my students.
Students in today’s world need to be able to compete in a global market. Technology will play a major role in a student’s growth. School districts that are not pushing their students to develop such skills are putting their students at a disadvantage.
