Students spend a large amount of time on online platforms and will come into conflict with people that don’t think like them. Over the last few years I have started to incorporate an online discussion board. Students work to answer questions and then respond to each other sharing their own ideas. I want students to work on treating each other with respect and work on creating positive interactions with one-another online.

This is an example from my students sylabus that is worked through with students. From day on I try to set high expectations about learning in my classroom. I want students to want to learn and incorporate their own ideas.
