Teaching has been a passion of mine for over the past 19 years. In that 19 years teaching has changed and developed over time. Who could have imagined 1:1 programs putting computers in all student’s hands? Who could have imagined taking Master’s classes 100% online? Over that time I have developed my own teaching style and have also changed my own way of thinking as it pertains to education.
Over the years I have developed a more Growth Mindset. This is something that I have tried to instill in my students. As students go work through my class I am constantly trying to get them to develop critical thinking and a deeper understanding of history.
